Noo Saro-Wiwa is a British-Nigerian author and journalist born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and raised in England. Daughter of the late human rights activist Ken Saro-Wiwa, she is best known for her award-winning travel book, Looking for Transwonderland: Travels in Nigeria. Saro-Wiwa has written for major publications like The Guardian and Condé Nast Traveler, and has also authored Black Ghost: A Journey into The Lives of Africans in China. Her work explores themes of identity and challenges the representation of Africa in the 21st century.

Nnimmo Bassey is a distinguished Nigerian architect, poet, essayist, and leading environmental activist known for his work exposing the impacts of the extractive industry and climate change in Africa and beyond. He is the director of the Health of Mother Earth Foundation (HOMEF) and coordinator of Oilwatch International. Bassey is the co-recipient of the 2010 Right Livelihood Award and a recipient of Nigeria's Member of the Federal Republic national honour in 2014.

Owens Wiwa is a Nigerian-born physician and human rights activist, brother of the late environmentalist Ken Saro-Wiwa, known for his work on the effects of corporate practices, especially Royal Dutch Shell in the Niger Delta, and his research into community resilience and PTSD in conflict-affected regions. He is an expert on global health and corporate responsibility, having worked with organizations like the Clinton Health Access Initiative and as a vice-chairman for the Sierra Club Canada. He has also authored the book "Silence Will Be Treason" and advocated for increased corporate responsibility globally.
